GODSENT co-founder ‘Pronax’ removed from duties after mental health issues

The co-founder of esports organization GODSENT, Markus ”pronax” Wallsten, has been relieved from most of his duties to focus more on his mental health. The news broke on Twitter after a post was made by GODSENT’s other co-founder and CEO Henrik Denebrandt.

This means that Wallsten will no longer be involved with the organization’s CS:GO team and he’ll be relieved from his duties as manager. According to the Twitter post of Denebrandt, Wallsten will remain a shareholder of the organization but “he has no operative involvement in the company for the time being.”

The decision to relieve Wallsten for the time being came after he sent out multiple tweets surrounding his position within GODSENT, accusing his fellow colleagues of lying to him and undermining him after he tried to get a seat on the board of directors for over 9 months. As of now, GODSENT has not put out a statement regarding the accusations themselves. Instead they tweeted out a brief statement regarding the mental health of Wallsten, which was approved by his family.

The 29-year old Wallsten had been active as a CS:GO professional player for over 10 years, before stepping down to work within the scene in a management position. He played for numerous teams, including a very successful stay with Fnatic and Team Ancient. Wallsten is now expected to take a break and tweeted out that he “appreciates everyone that reached out”.
