Epic Games is launching yet another collaboration. This time football is the name of the game not only partnerships with numerous famous clubs but also a new skin set, a special Pelé emote and more.
It is time for football on the island. The popular Battle Royale is teaming up with the biggest sport in the world. Starting from January 23 players can not only acquire the new Kickoff set but also buy the custom Pelé Air Punch emote to celebrate the occasion. Competitive players can also earn these items three days earlier if they do well in the Pelé Cup.
23 Clubs are part of the Fortnite crossover featuring teams all around the world. From Premier League contenders Manchester City to Italian clubs like Juventus or American Los Angeles FC. Players can use the colors and jerseys of these clubs and combine them with ten different outfits to represent their favorite teams in Fortnite.
Pelé Cup and Football in Creative Mode
Fortnite will kick off the action on January 20 with their Pelé Cup. Each participant will have the chance to earn themselves the new set and emote. If you do especially well you will also have a change at a special signed T-Shirt.
Football also comes to Fortnite’s Creative Mode in the form of a special island. Players can compete against each other in teams of four in special tournaments. Use your pickaxes, powerups, speed boosts and more to prevail against your opponents.
