FunPlus Phoenix made the announcement on Chinese social media platform Weibo, where they talked about the partnership with Marvel. “Starting right now, esports organization FunPlus Phoenix and Marvel will be entering a partnership, which will launch multiple trendy products for esports fans.”
The crossover will focus on Marvel superheroes and combine them with players from FunPlus Phoenix. One of the examples of their partnership is a fusion between top laner Nuguri and Marvel superhero Thor. “FunPlus Phoenix will be combining the classic elements of Marvel and their well-known superheroes. We will launch a series of clothing, daily products, esports equipment and other trendy products.”

As of the time of writing, FunPlus Phoenix hasn’t made an English version of the post yet, but it’s expected to arrive shortly. It’s currently unclear if the clothing line and products will be limited to China or if they will also be available for an English-speaking market. Previously organizations such as Team Liquid have also partnered with Marvel and created a similar line of clothing and products.
