Froskurinn steps down from LEC

LEC’s commentator Indiana “Froskurinn” Black announced her departure from Europe’s Top LoL competition today via Twitter.

With 10 days to go until the official start of the LEC’s 2021 season on January 22, Froskurinn has decided to not re-sign with the league.

After her contract with Riot ran out at the end of last year’s October she had been active in searching for freelancing opportunities, while not ruling out a return to the LEC. Froskurinn has not yet announced where she is headed to next but hinted at a managerial position in her Tweet: “I’ve always felt strongly about moving into management and development positions.”

She had been a regular on the European league’s broadcast since 2019 when she made the switch over from the Chinese LPL. Now it seems like she is ready to move behind the camera as she will not return to the LEC’s broadcast on 22 January.
