Fortnite – Aim Assist nerfed?

Fortnite’s aim assist has been among the favorite things fans criticize Epic Games for. According to a Dataminer it has finally been nerfed.

In the recent v12.61 hotfix dataminer “Lucas7yoshi” found unannounced adjustments made to aim assist for PC players.

Lucas7yoshi found the following four string changes:

  • PullInnerStrengthHip — reduced from 0.60 to 0.45.
  • PullOuterStrengthHip — reduced from 0.50 to 0.38.
  • PullInnerStrengthAds — reduced from 0.70 to 0.52.
  • PullOuterStrengthAds — reduced from 0.40 to 0.30.

According to the dataminer the changes only come into effect after restarting the game or loading into a Fortnite match. Will this adjustment address the grievances made by stars like Tyler “Ninja” Blevins or Turner “Tfue” Tenney?

Although Epic Games has not announced anything in regards to these changes, the community will most likely welcome a nerf to the feature. Espcially with some being frustrated that the beginning of season 3 has been delayed until June 11.
