Former Heroic player niko complicit in HUNDEN coaching bug according to ESIC report

The ESIC released a report which talks about the accusations towards Heroic players, saying they knew about the coaching bug which HUNDEN got punished for. According to this report niko was found to be complicit and admitted to cheating, after a voice recording surfaced which featured a conversation between coach HUNDEN and himself.

Despite his involvement and him knowing about the bug that was being abused, niko won’t be punished by the ESIC. He will however get a ‘severe public reprimand’ for his actions, a warning from the ESIC which might result in further action in the future if he breaks the rules again, one on one education sessions with the ESIC commissioner and a 15 -minute check in with the commissioner every month for six months ‘to ensure he has understood and is complying with the ESIC Integrity Program’.

The other players that were investigated were found to be innocent and not in breach of ESIC’s rules. These players were Rene “TeSeS” Madsen, Casper “cadiaN” Moller, Johannes “b0RUP” Borup and Martin “stavn” Lund. “Upon investigating the conduct of these individuals, ESIC was unable to find anywhere near enough evidence to reasonably conclude that these four players were guilty of any offence under the ESIC Integrity Program.”
