Fnatic and Crypto.com announce historic $15 million deal

It’s the first ever esports deal for Crypto.com, who will be working together with Fnatic on multiple activations for their esports teams and players, engaging esports and gaming content and in-game experiences as well as in-person events. The partnership also includes new digital projects such as Fnatic NFTs down the line. The Crypto.com logo will also be featured on the new Fnatic jerseys.

The CEO of Fnatic, Sam Mathews, sees the partnership as a way to boost their fanbase. “Fnatic boasts one of the most connected, involved and supportive fan bases in the world and this landmark deal with Crypto.com allows us to further cater to their everyday needs. As cryptocurrency becomes a mainstream payment method, there’s never been a better time to help our fans make smarter, healthier and future-proof cryptocurrency decisions.”

For Crypto.com, the journey into esports is a milestone for the company, CEO Kris Marszalek says. “We’re really excited to launch a fully integrated partnership with Fnatic, which marks a milestone for our industry. With more than 200 championships, their team has excelled in-game and out, and rightfully established itself as the leading team in esports.”
