Looking forward to starting the new expansion pack with one of the two new jobs? Here is how and where to unlock Reaper and Sage in Final Fantasy XIV Endwalker.
Unlocking Sage
Sage is the new healer coming to Final Fantasy XIV. It shares gears with the other healers and will be a shield healer in a similar vein to Scholar. The job unlocks at level 70. Here are the requirements:
- Have at least one Combat Job (Disciple of War or Magic) at level 70
- Own Endwalker
The quest for unlocking Sage will be given to you by the “Sharlayan Maiden” in Limsa Lominsa’s Lower Decks (X:9.4 Y:12.9). Talk to the NPC to receive the quest “Sage’s Path”, which will introduce you to Sage.
Unlocking Reaper
Reaper is the newest melee DPS in Final Fantasy XIV. It shares gear with Dragoons and unlocks at level 70. Here are the requirements to unlock the new job:
- Have at least one Combat Job (Disciple of War or Magic) at level 70
- Own Endwalker
To start your journey as Reaper you need to talk to the “Flustered Attendant” in Ul’dah’s Steps of Nald (X:12.8 Y:8.6). The NPC will give you the quest “The Killer Instinct”, which will get you started.
