FaZe Clan to drop entire VALORANT roster except for Babybay

According to Upcomer’s George Geddes, FaZe Clan is prepared to completely overhaul its VALORANT roster for 2022. Sources have alleged that the organization is ready to offload its entire roster with the exception of Jett main Babybay.

FaZe have reportedly already held multiple try-outs for players alongside their mainstay Babybay. ShoT_Up, YaBoiDre, POACH, and Chase are just some of the names that could join the roster come 2022. None of these players have officially signed with FaZe Clan as the team is still actively trying out players.

The team has already been expected to lose most of its starting roster. Rawkus is certainly with Sentinels on a temporary contract as a coach while the team competes at VCT Champions. The secondary fragger and duelist, Corey, is expected to sign with TSM in the near future. Though ZachaREE is still contracted with the team, he is not expected to remain for 2022 though has yet to update us on any potential future destinations.

FaZe Clan had a year full of ups-and-downs.  While the team consistently competed near the top of North America, the roster failed to qualify for any international events. Often criticized for their highly individual focused play, FaZe Clan’s performance often relied on the results of its top fraggers.

The organization is no stranger to roster changes, FaZe is set to get an almost entirely new roster for 2022. jdm64, a CS:GO veteran, is set to continue to lead the team in the 2022 season as well as the coming overhaul.
