FalleN makes move from MIBR to Team Liquid

After countless rumors, Gabriel “FalleN” Toledo will be leaving MIBR and joins up with Team Liquid. The organization confirmed the signing earlier today. Liquid was in need of one more player after Russel “Twistzz” Van Dulken decided to take a step back.

Team Liquid announced the signing of FalleN on their Twitter page earlier today, with a video where FalleN talks about the team and what he looks to bring. “Liquid is a team that is known for not having a specific (dedicated) AWPer a lot of the time, but it looked like they were looking for someone to fill that role recently. I’m very happy they chose me to do that, because I think it’s a strength of me as a player.”

The move marks the end of a turbulent time at MIBR, where FalleN decided to bench himself after the team decided to let Fernando ”fer” Alvarenga and Epitacio “TACO” de Melo go. With this move to Team Liquid he joins one of the best CS:GO line-ups of the moment, hoping to reinvigorate his career. It’ll be interesting to see how he fits into the Liquid line-up.

The 29-year-old FalleN won two majors over the years and has quite a lot of experience under his belt, as he’s been playing competitively since 2005. Over the past few years he represented organizations such as SK Gaming, Luminosity Gaming and most recently MIBR.
