LoL legend Sang-hyeok “Faker” Lee and Tottenham’s super star Heung-min Son joined hands for a humorous advert for SK Telecom in South Korea.
Esport stars have starred in advertisements for a while now. But a joint advert with Premier League star is breaking new ground.
Both stars apparently have plenty of time to kill as Son is enjoying the offseason of the Premier League, while Faker is currently on the bench for T1. The Korean icons have no begun appearing in several ads in South Korea.
Not only the new 5GX technology from SK Telecom is advertised, at the same time the new Samsung Galaxy Note 20 and the Xbox Game Pass also get praised. The three spots are all in directed in a similar vein. Son is playing Xbox games on his Samsung phone, surprising Faker and setting up funny scenes with LoL’s greatest of all time.
