EXTREMUM show new CS:GO roster

EXTREMUM has a new CS:GO roster, the organization announced on Twitter. Among the players that will be competing under EXTREMUM in Europe, we see some familiar faces.

The new EXTREMUM CS:GO roster consists of four players that were previously playing under the 100 Thieves banner. The roster move was in the works for quite a while, with reports about the possibility coming out about three months ago. The roster will consist of Jay “Liazz” Tregillgas, Aaron “AZR” Ward, Sean “Gratisfaction” Kaiwai, Hansel “BnTeT” Ferdinand and Joakim “jkaem” Myrbostad. The team will be coached by former Cloud9 coach Aleksandar “kassad” Trifunovic, who left the organization a while ago.

It’s been quite some time since the former 100 Thieves member played together in an official tournament, dating back to October when the squad participated at IEM New York 2020 NA, where they ended up taking second place. This time around the roster will compete under EXTREMUM in Europe but will look towards participating in some North American events.

EXTREMUM went on to announce the roster on their social media pages. “Looking back, I understand that we set tremendously ambitious goals for ourselves. We came to this industry because we grew up here and we wanted it to be different. We had a booming start, and we owned our region. But that was not enough for us. We always wanted more. This was our chance to create the legacy. Now we are ready to show you another way.”
