The team will be headed up and captained by Christine “Potter” Chi, also featuring Claude “Clawdia” Che, Ronan “Osias” Javelona, Aleksandar “aleksandar” Hinojosa and Nolan “Temperature” Pepper. Both aleksandar and Temperature played for Moon Raccoons in the past, who performed really well over the past few months. According to Evil Geniuses the roster was built around Potter. “Once Potter was signed, a full roster was constructed around her to focus on building a truly competitive team with eyes on being a force in the up and coming competitive landscape.”
Potter herself also spoke on the signing of the new roster. “Evil Geniuses approached me with the opportunity to create something special and help define the emerging VALORANT scene. We’ve put together an amazing squad of veterans and young guns, and I think we’re going to surprise a lot of people.”
The team will get a trial by fire in the Champions Tour soon, where they’ll face some teams who’ve got quite a lot of experience and status. It’ll remain to be seen how the new Evil Geniuses roster will be able to perform after a limited time of playing together. According to Potter, the most important thing for the new roster is playing together and growing as a team by not setting expectations too high right out of the gate.
