Fortnite has launched their newest season. The fifth Season is called Zero Point and will feature a new Battle Pass as well as a new Map and more.
Epic Games hosted the Galactus Event which had more than 15 million players in the game fighting Galactus to conclude season 4.
After eight hours of maintenance at the event’s end, Zero Point is now live on servers. The storyline for the new season was also seperately published in a story trailer.
Jonesy activates the device once more to recruit more players to their side across all realities. But that results in him being sucked in and arriving on a changed map. Three new areas were already leaked early on by Leaker HYPEX: Cikissak Cikuseznm Stealthy Stronghold and Hunters Haven.
The season 5 map will also feature some of the old classic locations like Slurpy Swamp, Sweaty Sands and Retail Row. It seems very likely that the map will change once again during the course of the season.
A new Battle Pass was also released with the new season. In the gameplay trailer you can already find the first details regarding it. Mando from the Star Wars spin-off The Mandalorian was one of the characters recruited by Jonesy and will join teh fray alongside Baby Yoda. But in order to unlock those perks players need to max out the Battle Pass at level 100.
As usual additional characters will be unlocked by grinding out your Battle pass and plenty of new skins will also be included.
