At the beginning of July the very first esports hotel has opened in Japan. The new hotel e-ZONe is located in the center of Osaka and specialized in esports and gaming enthusiasts.
Japan continues to cater to the growing esports fanbase in their country as recently the first specialised esports hotel opened its doors to the public.

High end PCs and capsule beds
The first three floors in the building are filled to the brim with 72 high end PCs for their customers. These are also equipped with webcams and gaming peripherals to cater to their needs. The hotel will also offer a venue for esports events or tournaments with large monitors for spectators.
Floors four to eight are used for the accomodations with the majority being capsule beds with very limited space.
On the seventh floor e-ZONe offers premium rooms with gaming setups and seperate bathrooms that can be used for bootcamping teams. The top floor is reserved for female guests.

e-ZONe is located right in the heart of Osaka, the second largest urban center in Japan. The hotel is within walking distance of the Nipponbashi Shopping District, famous for being the “Akihabara of Japan’s west”. Similar to the renowned district in Tokio, Nipponbashi is a haven for anime and manga culture, while also hosting electronics and games retailers.
A basic capsule can be rented for ¥1000 per night while the more premium rooms cost up to ¥8000 per night.
