Esports Awards 2021: s1mple wins PC player of the year, multiple awards for 100 Thieves and G2 Esports

Oleksandr ‘s1mple’ Kostyliev of Natus Vincere took home the PC player of the year award, having recently won his first CS:GO Major. On the controller side of things, Call of Duty player Chris “Simp” Lehr of Atlanta Faze took home the award, having led Atlanta FaZe to a first place in the CDL Championship 2021. The Atlanta FaZe would also go on to win Team of the Year, while 100 Thieves got awarded the Organization of the Year award.

In the On-Air awards, Host of the Year once again went to Eefje “sjokz” Depoortere, having won it in 2020 as well. Miles Ross, mostly now for casting Call of Duty, took home the play-by-play caster award, while Chad ‘SPUNJ’ Burchill won the Colour Caster of the Year award.
