ESL One Cologne 2020 Online – Streams, Schedule and more

It is once more time for the ESL One Cologne, one of the most prestigious titles in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. Although the pandemic forced it to transition to an online regional tournament, it remains a premier tournament. Here is everything you need to know.

In order to facilitate online play the teams were split into the regions Europe, North America, Asia and Oceania. Last year’s champion Team Liquid will aim to defend their title in the NA region, while the current best team in the world, BIG has to fend off the onslaught of European top teams like G2 Esports, Natus Vincere, Team Vitality, Astralis among many others in EU.

ESL has reduced the prize pool from one million Dollar down to $500,000, but promised to shift the remainder towards next year’s IEM Katowice 2021 and ESL One Cologne 2021.

The European region will fight over $325,000 while NA competes for $135,000.

If you have bought tickets for the ESL One Cologne 2020, they will remain valid for next year’s event. You can also still apply for refunds until the end of 2020.

Playoffs 27.08 – 30.08 

Playoffs in EU will start on 15:00 CEST, the NA matches will start at 16;00 EDT.
