Elden Ring – How to unlock all Endings

After defeating Radagon and the Elden Beast you have finally done it, you have beaten and finished Elden Ring. Before you can enjoy the credits there are numerous endings that can conclude the game. Here are all six different Ages and how to unlock them.

Age of Fracture – The Elden Lord Ending

This is the standard ending, which requires no special pre-conditions. Players ascend to the throne and become the next Elden Lord. All you have to do is mend the Elden Ring to begin the Age of Fracture.

Just following the main story and defeating its bosses is enough to unlock this ending. You cannot miss this ending and you don’t need to complete any of the NPC questlines.

Age of Stars – Ranni’s Ending

In order to reach Ranni’s ending players need to have completed her questline before the final boss fight. Instead of mending the Elden Ring, you summon Ranni to your side. She will then start the Age of Stars.

Ranni’s Questline:

  • Meet Ranni at Ranni’s Rise in northern Liurnia and start her quest there
  • Find Blaidd at Sifora River and follow his instructions to get more details from Seluvis
  • Defeat Radahn in Caelid
  • Go to Nokron and find Ranni’s treasure the Fingerslayer Blade and return it to her to get the Carian Inverted Statue
  • Place the statue on the podest in Carian Study Hall in eastern Liurnia
  • Use the portal in the first tower right of Caria Manor to reach Nokstella
  • Collect the Miniature Ranni Doll and talk to her three times at the nearby Site of Grace
  • Defeat the Baleful Shadow to get a key from Ranni
  • Use the coffin and defeat Astel
  • Use the Keyon the the chest in the Raya Lucaria Academy to receive the Dark Moon Ring and unlock a portal behind Astel
  • Take the lift behind him and go to the Cathedral of Manus Celes
  • Give Ranni the ring and defeat Blaidd

Age of Order – Goldmask’s Ending

Brother Corhyn’s quest line needs to be completed in order to unlock this ending. If you have done so, you will get the option to use the Mending Rune of Perfect Order after the final boss. The ensuing Age of Order sees the restoration of order to the Lands Between. You need 37 Intelligence as well as the Incantation Law of Regression to finish the questline.

Brother Corhyn Questline:

  • Talk to Brother Corhyn at Roundtable Hold until he departs to find Goldmask
  • Find Corhyn at the Atlus Plateau to continue the quest
  • Search for Goldmask at the broken Bridge in northern Atlus Plateau
  • Tell Brother Corhyn that you have met Goldmask and talk to him once again to nudge him towards Leyndell
  • Find both in Leyndell and talk to them
  • Travel to Erdtree Sanctuary and take the stairs down until you find a statue. Use the Law of Regression in front of it.
  • Return to Goldmask and Corhyn in Leyndell and talk to them. They will move to the brdige south of the Stargazer’s Ruins
  • Defeat the Fire Giant
  • Discover the corpse of Goldmask in Leyndell, where you can also find the Mending Rune of Perfect Order

Age of Duskborn – Fia’s Ending

The Age of Duskborn requires Fia and Ranni’s questlines. Ranni’s does not have to be completed fully, you need to have it until the point you placed the Carian Inverted Statue on the podest in Carian Study Hall. After the final boss fight you need to use the Mending Rune of the Death-Prince to unlock the ending.

Fia’s Questline:

  • Talk to Fia in Roundtable Hold after picking up the Cursemark of Death at the top of the inverted Carian Hall, the Divine Tower of Liurnia
  • Allow Fia to hold you and she will then ask a favor of you.
  • Talk to D in the Roundtable Hold and give him the Weathered Dagger
  • Cross Nakron to reach Deeproot Depths
  • Defeat Fia’s champion and give her the Cursemark of Death
  • Defeat Lichdragon Fortissax to get the Mending Rune of the Death-Prince

Lord of the Frenzied Flame – Three Fingers Ending

This ending does not require a specific questline. But you need to fulfill a couple of conditions to become the Lord of the Frenzied Flame. After the final boss fight you need to decide against becoming the Elden Lord. Instead of sacrificing Melina, your own character chooses to die, burning down the Erdtree.

Conditions:

  • Defeat Mohg, the Omen
  • Hit the wall behind the altar in the boss room to find a secret passage
  • Make your way down until the ground crumbles beneath you
  • Remove your armor and open the door
  • Meet Three Fingers and receive their blessing
  • Talk to Hyetta outside of the room and make her your companion

Blessing of Despair – Dung Eater Ending

The Blessing of Despair ending is only available after finishing Dung Eater’s questline. He appears at Roundtable Hold after a certain amount of progress has been made in the main story. Instead of mending the Elden Ring you need to use the Mending Rune of the Fell Curse at the finale. This results in you becoming the Elden Lord but the Lands Between become cursed.

Dung Eater Questline:

  • Give Dung Eater a Seedbed Curse in exchange for a key
  • Find his true form in Leyndell’s sewers
  • Travel back to Roundtable Hold and you will receive a mission through a message on the ground
  • Defeat Dung Eater near Outer Wall Battleground in Leyndell
  • Talk to him again in Roundtable Hold
  • Collect the other Seedbed Curses in Leyndell, Volcano Manor and Miquella’s Haligtree
  • Give those to Dung Eater in the sewers to receive the Mending Rune of the Fell Curse
