Balanced Base Stats
The Confessor is one of the most well-balanced starting classes among the ten players can pick from. But with 14 points in Faith (the second highest among the classes) he is quite suitable for Incantations, powerful spells for ranged as well as melee.
His other stats are a very even spread with Strength and Dexterity both starting at a strong 12.

How to build your Confessor
Due to those base stats the Confessor is one of the best classes for a Quality Build. Distributing points equally among Strength and Dexterity you will gain access to almost all weapons. Coupled with your Faith attribute you can easily turn a Confessor into a “Paladin” archetype.
You should also increase Vigor to be more durable in fights as you will naturally gravitate towards melee range, a role you can fit with your balanced and good physical attributes. Confessors start the game at level 10 and access to an early healing spell. Your other starting equipment in the form of a broadsword as well as the Blue Crest Heater Shield are very good items to start with. Especially the shield gives you 100% physical damage block right from the beginning.

Confessors are a very flexible class to build upon that is also forgiving if you mess up a bit. Make sure you shift your attributes according to your weapon or incantation usage and you will be well set for your journey in the Lands Between.
