Sexual harrassment scandal

On sunday Marc Overmars stepped down from all his positions at Ajax Amsterdam, current leader of the Dutch Eredivision. During his professional career Marc Overmars had been a prolific player that was subsequently honored by EA as an icon card in FUT.

Following the allegations of sexual harrassment at the workplace, Marc Overmars will no longer be available in FIFA 22.

While his Icon card is no longer available, players that have him will be able to keep him. Prices on the market will be locked however to prevent traders enriching themselves in the wake of the scandal.

This is the second player removal in FIFA 22 in quick succession after Mason Greenwood was also removed due to allegations of domestic abuse.
