The DreamHack organizers rescheduled all their 2020 live events to a later date. Fans will still be able to watch online content, since all the tournaments will be held online.
Today, DreamHack announced that all of their live events had to be rescheduled to next year. Because of COVID-19 the organizers had no other choice in order to assure the staff’s and players’ health and safety with such big events.
These events are affected
DreamHack Rotterdam, DreamHack Hyderabad, DreamHack Atlanta, DreamHack Winter and DreamHack Madrid will all happen in 2021.
Unfortunately we are postponing the remaining 2020 DreamHack festivals.

The new dates and locations for those festivals will be announced at a later date this year.
Online events
The following events will be played online:
- DreamHack Open featuring Fortnite – From August to January everyone above the age of 13 can participate. Players can win up to 250.000 Dollars every month.
- DreamHack Open Summer (CS:GO) – Starting August 7th.
- Dreamhack Starcraft 2 Master und Dreamhack Warcraft 3 Open
- Northern League of Legends Championship
- Dreamhack Showdown Fall
- Dreamhack Original Content
- Dreamhack will host the Fall Regional Major Ranking tournament in Europe
