Dota: Dragon’s Blood to get a second season

As the first season of the animated series Dota Dragon’s Blood was welcomed with praise, a second season for the series was announced.

Dota: Dragon’s Blood is an animated series which is based on the popular Dota 2 MOBA. The first season found its way to Netflix on March 25 and was met with positive reviews by fans and new viewers alike, leading to the announcement of a second season. The series was produced by Studio Mir, who earlier worked on projects such as The Legend of Korra and Volton: Legendary Defender.

The official Dota 2 Twitter account announced the news with a tweet, also announcing that a new end credit sequence was added to the documentary Free to Play. “Book 2 is coming! The second season of DOTA: Dragon’s Blood is in the works. While you wait, revisit the story of the tournament that started it all, Free to Play, is now available on Netflix with an updated end credit sequence.”

The announcement was met with praise from the fans, who are eagerly awaiting the release of the second season. Dota Dragon’s Blood is currently sitting at 8.2/10 on IMDb.
