The Winter 2021 Season of the Dota Pro Circuit is now in full swing and Valve has prepared some changes to kick off six weeks of non-stop Dota 2 action. These changes include tweaks to the client and brand new content packages to help support your favorite team.
First and foremost Dota 2 esports matches will now be easier to watch in-client, following a revamp to improve the watching and fan experience in general. You’ll now find an in-depth schedule under the ‘Watch’ tab, making it easier to get a general overview of all matches. Fans will also be able to track their favorite team’s every move with the updated Dota Pro Circuit app, which will allow you to check standings and team updates, among other things.

Perhaps one of the more exciting pieces of content coming to Dota 2 are the content packages, which players will be able to use to cheer on their favorite teams in-game. These will be integrated to support the teams and will feature loading screens, emotes, sprays, in-game effects, custom chat-wheel lines from the teams and more. All the content that will be available was provided by the teams themselves, to make it as personal as possible.
