‘DaZeD’ joins VALORANT roster of T1

T1 shook up it’s VALORANT roster at the start of september by releasing Victor “food” Wong and Austin “crashies” Roberts from the roster. Now they’re adding some fresh talent again with the signing of Sam “DaZeD” Marine, bringing their total of players back up to four once more as they now look for one more player.

DaZeD had a history in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive before making the move to VALORANT. During his time in CS:GO he’s best known for competing on iBUYPOWER and being permanently banned by Valve for match fixing all the way back in 2015. Aside from competing in some smaller competitions, he had picked up being an on-screen analyst and streamer before joining T1 as a competitive VALORANT player.

At T1 DaZeD meets up once more with Braxton “brax” Pierce, Keven “AZK” Larivière and Tyler “Skadoodle” Latham, who he already competed with during his time with iBUYPOWER. It’ll certainly be interesting to see if DaZeD can help pull T1 out of their current slump as they’ve had their difficulties in recent months, failing to perform.

In their most recent event, Pop Flash hosted by B site, T1 ended up in 7th-8th place. In other events in August they’ve had similar results, ending 9th-12th in the Pittsburgh Knights Invitational and 7th-8th in the FaZe Clan Invitational.
