Good news for Astralis fans. In-game leader Lukas “gla1ve” will return to the active roster sooner rather than later.

On June 22 Astralis member Nicolai “dev1ce” Reedtz appeared as guest on the HLTV Confirmed podcast and talked about many topics including the current roster issues. Among the questions he answered was also the inquiry when to expect gla1ve and Xyp9x’ return.

While dev1ce said that Xyp9x’ return was still undetermined, gla1ve would be back to the starting lineup in August.

For fans August can not come soon enough as the Danish superteam has had a string of disappointing results ever since gla1ve and Xyp9x stepped down. A top 12 finish at DreamHack Masters Spring and an early elimination during BLAST Spring are results far below their usual expectations.
