Crownshot (SK Gaming) looking for options in LEC and LCS

Juš “Crownshot” Marušič, who is currently the bot laner for SK Gaming, is possibly looking for a new team in the LEC or LCS. Crownshot has been a part of SK Gaming for almost 2 years now and is still contracted to the organization until November.

In a post on his Twitter page Crownshot says his team has allowed him to explore options even though he is still contracted to them. “I’m still contracted with SK Gaming until November, but they’ve allowed me to explore my options before that. Open to offers in LCS/LEC. DMs are open.”

SK Gaming facilitated Crownshot’s playstyle and often looked to play through their bot lane a lot, but they had a pretty disappointing year when it comes to results. In the Spring Split SK Gaming missed out on playoffs completely with a 4-14 record. They found their groove again in the Summer Split, going 9-9 and securing a playoff spot. There they lost out to a dominant Schalke 04 in a series that ended in an 0-3.

Chances are that Crownshot might be leaving the LEC for the upcoming season, as it’ll be hard to find a spot on a roster that doesn’t already include a strong bot laner. In the LCS however some teams might be looking to shake things up and Crownshot might be an interesting option. An LCS move does seem a lot more likely.
