Confirmed: Karrigan makes move to FaZe Clan

Finn “karrigan” Andersen will be making the move to FaZe Clan to replace olofmeister, who will be departing the organization.

It’s something that has been in the cards for quite a while, but now it has finally been confirmed. Karrigan will be leaving his current team mousesports to make the move to FaZe Clan, where he’ll become the IGL, filling in the vacant position left by olofmeister, who stepped away following the conclusion of the BLAST Premier Spring Groups. The 30-year old player made the announcement on Twitter.

Karrigan is without a doubt one of the most experienced players currently still playing within the CS:GO scene and will fill a position within FaZe that the roster has been clamoring for. He’s brought mousesports to some big victories during his time there, including winning CS:GO Asia Championships 2019 and the ESL Pro League Season 10. For Karrigan it’ll be a return to one of his older teams, as he’s already played for FaZe from 2016 to 2019 before making the move to mouz.

Mousesports also announced the departure of karrigan and talked a little more about the situation. “Thank you karrigan for captaining our CS:GO team in the past 23 months and all the best in your next endeavor. Both parties mutually agreed on a contract termination in time before IEM Katowice.”
