On June 11 it was finally time for the fourth season in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. Let’s take a look at all the additions.
There had been quite an amount of leaks beforehand but now the update is finally live. With 44 GB on Xbox, 45 GB on PC and 32 GB on PS4 Patch 1.22 has a plethora of things for players to look forward to.
A brand new Battle Pass leads the charge with changes to maps, weapons and more.

- MP Fennec (Vector) – Tier 15 in Battle Pass
- CR-56 Amax (Galil) – Tier 31 in Battle Pass
- Another as of yet unannounced weapon will be implemented during the season.

Master challenges for weapons
Activision has introdcued eight master challenges for each weapon. You unlock them after reaching Gold on your weapon of choice, if you successfully complete the challenges you can collect emblems and playercards. If you finish all challenges for all 51 weapons you get a special playercard and a “badass” sticker as reward.
Changes to Warzone
Team-Deathmatch gets introduced to CoD: Warzone. The new mode Warzone Rumble allows large scale 50vs50 engagements in Warzone.
New ingame events
Three new events will keep players on their toes in Warzone. “Jailbreak”, “Fire Sale” and “Supply Chopper” will now change up your regular Warzone game.
- Jailbreak: Eliminated players including those in the Gulag can re-enter the battlefield. The other players will be warned beforehand.
- Fire Sale: For a limited time of 60 seconds you can buy equipment 80% off or for free. Reviving teammates will be free. Calling in Loadout-Drops will not be affected.
- Supply Chopper: A chopper will arrive on the map. If players destroy it they are rewarded with three recon drones, two ammunition chests and armor, a mask, a grenade launcher and cash.
New old operator
Captain John Price joins the fray as a new operator. You will be able to acquire him by paying 1000 CoD-Points.
