CoD Mobile – Season 9 is coming and it’s called Conquest

Hitting servers shortly after the one-year-anniversary of Call of Duty: Mobile, the season 9 update is going to be one of the biggest the game has seen so far.

On Twitter, the developers confirmed the release date for CoD Mobile season 9, which is called Conquest. The big update will go live on August 16th. It will finally bring the beloved Gunsmith feature to the mobile world of Call of Duty, alongside a lot of other new content.

Because of the update’s size, the regular schedule had to be interrupted in order to get all the new content working and ready, the developers said in a community update on Reddit.

Similar to Warzone, in the Battle Royale mode Ground Loot will also have attachments in the coming update, while self-manufactured guns have to be ordered via air drop.

Season 9 will introduce a new map called Shipment 1944 to CoD Mobile. Similar to other versions of Shipment, this one will be a very small map that exclusively features close- to mid-range gunfights and gives players no time to rest.

But there’s more: Season 9 will also feature a new weapon type and thereby a new gun, which is the Kilo Bolt-Action DMR. Other than that, there will be new locations on the Battle Royale map, more loadout slots, new events and more.
