Cloud9 star TenZ and ALIVE lead in VALORANT rankings

Riot published the top 100 players in all regions in VALORANT’s ranked mode. Europe and North America are dominated by Jett players. Cloud9’s TenZ is the number one in NA, while Team Finest’s ALIVE is leading in Europe.

WHo is the best VALORANT player? That question is answered by the top 100 rankings published by Riot Games, which are divided into the regions Europe, NA, and Latin America. In June Riot introduced the leaderboards for Ranked and for the first time published an overview of the best players in each region.

In Europe the Israeli player Gilad “ALIVE” Hakim from Team Finest is in the lead. He has not been a star player at the bigger tournaments so far, but the placement on the leaderboard suggests that he is a talent to watch. Maybe he appeared on the bigger esports orgs radar because of the ranking.

Other names in Europes top 100 are well-known names such as FunPlus Phoenix’s Andrey “Shao” Kiprsky and Patryk “paTiTek” Fabrowski of G2 Esports. The best german player is Niels “luckeRRR” Jasiek at place 52, who currently plays for Swedish org Ninjas in Pyjamas.

TenZ at the top

The North American leaderboards are full of ex-CS:GO pros. The shining star here is Tyson “TenZ Ngo who is part of CLoud9’s roster. The top 10 is packed with other high-profile names such as 100 Thieves’ Peter “Asuna” Mazuryk, TSM’s Matthew “Wardell” Yu and Tyler “Skadoodle” Latham.

The amount of Jett players in the rankings is quite striking. The agent provides a lot of flexibility. Riot Games also mentioned that they will introduce leaderboards for all players in the currently ongoing Act III. Then you will know your exact placement in your region.
