Champion 160, the Void Jungler – Here’s What We Know

Season 12 started off the new year strong as Riot announced they’d be adding four champions to the pool throughout 2022. With Zeri already live on the rift, that leaves us with three more champions to be revealed.

One of the yet-to-be revealed trio of champions, currently only known as Champion 160, is said to be a Void jungler, joining Kha’Zix and Rek’Sai as the third character from the void.

But what do we already know about this new champion? As it turns out, not a lot. We can find a first mention in the September 2021 road map, where it was announced as “an overwhelming new jungler that should fill a Void in all your hearts.”

And that was it. Until the January 2022 Season 12 reveal stream. Ryan ‘Reav3’ Mireles, lead champion producer talked about the upcoming jungler.

When he changed the subject to talk about Champion 160, he became possessed, the first clue.

“I see it. I see everything. The lavender sea, purple cities cover the land. She rules over it all, my empress. This is what Runeterra should be, its true form,” he said.

Riot hasn’t spoken about the abilities of the new Void jungler, but if the announcement video was anything to go by -and Riot never does anything on accident in these videos-, the new jungler will be terrifying their opponents.

With Zaun slated to be the next champion, we’re looking at Champion 160 to be released after the support.
