Call of Duty: Mobile World Championship 2022 to feature $2 million prize pool

Competitive Call of Duty: Mobile action is set to return with the Call of Duty: Mobile World Championship 2022 on March 31. Again, there’s a large chunk of prize money to be earned, with the total prize pool containing $2 million dollars. Of that total prize pool, $1.7 million is set aside for the finals, which makes this the biggest prize pool Activision has ever had for Call of Duty: Mobile.

Activision posted a roadmap to the World Championship on their website, going from solo play to team play, leading into regional qualifiers. The qualified teams will duke it out in the regional playoffs, which will then lead into the (offline) finals, meaning the total event will consist of five different stages of action.

“The Call of Duty: Mobile World Championship 2022 will be conducted regionally in multiple stages and begins in Stage 1 with four open online qualifiers. Each weekend from March 31st through April 24, 2022 UTC, eligible players that complete 10 ranked multiplayer matches and earn 60 points qualify for Stage 2 plus new rewards each week.”
