Call of Duty League schedule revealed

You can now start planning out your viewing sessions, as the Call of Duty League has released the schedule for the upcoming season, detailing all matches.

The Call of Duty League 2021 Season will consist of five stages in total, with every stage along the way ending with a Major tournament. There’ll be three weeks which feature ‘home series’ matches, which are considered to be the group stage matches for the tournament. This means the best-performing teams from each group will push through to the upper bracket at the Major, while the lower ranked teams get seeded in the lower bracket.

Teams will earn Call of Duty League points throughout the season based on their performance, which will be used to see which teams will qualify for the Call of Duty League playoffs at the end of the season. Eight teams will qualify in total, each of them having a chance to become the CDL Champion in the post-season playoffs.

Things will start out with the first stage, which starts on February 11 and runs until February 28. The first Major is to take place in the week of March 1. This schedule will repeat itself four more times, until all five Majors have been finished and all CDL points have been assigned. More information about the post-season playoffs is yet to be released, with dates coming later this year.
