Activision had put out lots of hints throughout the last couple of days with tidbits and teasers for the new Call of Duty. After six days of cryptic hints the new title has been unveiled.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare seems to slowly come to a close. Infinity Ward supported the hype campaign for the next title in Warzone’s Verdansk. Treyarch will develop Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and more details will be announced on August 26.
First rumours began to surface back in May when people found first hints in Bunker 11 in Warzone. Over six days new hints, videos and teasers gradually surfaced and led the players on a wild goose chase. In the end all the hints led to the trailer:
The setting for the upcoming title will be the Cold War, but besides those details we will have to wait until August 26 for more information.
