Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War Pre-Load begins on November 6

Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War’s launch date is just eight days away now. If you pre-ordered the game you will be allowed to begin pre-loading the newest title on November 6.

Call of Duty has had quite a reputation for being massive in data sizes. The next entry into the franchise is no exception. Black Ops Cold War will boast more than 90 GB of data, not really an amount you can just download in a blink of an eye. Pre-load for Black Ops Cold War will start on November 6.

PlayStation 4 and Xbox One will be allowed to pre-load at the same time. The PS4 version will be 95 GB while Xbox One players only need 93 GB of free space available.

What about Next-Gen and PC?

For the upcoming new generation of consoles and the PC no details have been announved yet. As the PlayStation 5 only officially launches after Call of Duty’s release it is understandable. But for Xbox Series X and PC no pre-load date is known. For the Xbox Series X it seems likely that a pre-load will be available on its release date of November 10.
At least PC players will be able to choose between the lighter multiplayer version of 35 GB or the full game with 4K textures requiring up to 125 GB.
