New leaks and rumours have surfaced regarding the upcoming Call of Duty 2021. According to the usually well-informed website ModernWarzone the codename of the new CoD is “WWII: Vanguard”.
The new title is reportedly set in an alternate historical timeline in which the second World War did not conclude in 1945. Instead it is still raging on in the 50s. Subsequently it is difficult to predict the protagonists, locations and weaponry of the upcoming Call of Duty.
However one thing does seem to be set in stone: According to ModernWarzone Sledgehammer will be the developer studio behind the next CoD.
