Boomers vs Zoomers – Na’Vi organizes a special Counter-Strike Showmatch

A new kind of showmatch is headed our way in Counter-Strike: Oldies vs Young guns, Bommers vs Zoomers. You should not miss this match.

Renowned esports organisation Natus Vincere has announced a showmatch with a twist on August 1. Under the tagline Boomers vs Zoomers two iterations of Na`Vi will compete against each other.

The 2010 lineup with names such as Yegor “markeloff” Markelov, Danylo “Zeus” Teslenko or Ioann “Edward” Sukhariev the 1.6 team of legend will face off against the current CS:GO squad of Na`Vi. IEM champions 10 years apart we are treated to an impressive showmatch.

Appropriate for the clash, the match will be played on both games, Counter-Strike 1.6 as well as Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. In an earlier showmatch in a similar vein Na`Vi’s 2010 squad won over a couple of CIS streamers and proved that you should not count the grizzled veterans out.

The match will be streamed live on Twitch on Russian broadcaster Maincast:
