Battlegrounds Brawl returns with a $200,000 prize pool

To conclude the currently ongoing Felfire Festival of Music and Vengeance in Hearthstone Blizzard has announced the return of Battlegrounds Brawl.

16 Hearthstone players will face off in a four team battle on June 23. Starting on 09:00 PT | 18:00 CEST they will be competing across seven rounds for their share of $200,000.

Four teams to clash

As this edition of Battlegrounds Brawl is titled Pirates & Mayhem the teams have also been decided with fitting names:

Southsea Swashbucklers:

  • James “Firebat” Kostesich
  • Jason “Amaz” Chan
  • Arnaud “Oliech” Stassart (Solary)
  • Chen “Tom60229” Wei Lin

Bloodsail Buccaneers

  • Octavian “Kripp” Morosan
  • Jeffrey “Trump” Shih
  • Jeffrey “Sjow” Brusi
  • Sanghyeon “DDaHyoNi” Baek

Fogsail Freebooters

  • David “Dog” Caero
  • Rumay “Hafu” Wang
  • Thijs “Thijs” Molendijk
  • Aleksey “ShtanUdachi” Barsukov

Northsea Navigators

  • Brian “Kibler” Kibler
  • Collins “Educated_Collins” Mensah
  • Dima “RDU” Radu
  • Jinbae (109ace)

The players will compete against each other over seven rounds collecting points depending on their placement at the end of each round. The team with the highest amount of points after seven rounds will be crowned the victor.
