The C5 (actually C4 in reality) is a common gadget in shooter games and a veteran of the Battlefield series. Key characteristic of it is its ability to stick to surfaces. If you have good aim and a strong throwing arm, you can easily take out opponents with a well-placed C5.
Once it sticks on something, you just need to blow it up through your remote control. But there are also more unorthodox ways to use it.
The C5 Jeep
If you place the C5 on your jeep you can use it to hunt opponents. Once you see one, you accelerate and jump out right before impact, then you blow it up for an easy kill.
The C5 Drone
For this one you need to pick the Recon class in Battlefield 2042. Launch your drone and then jump out of its camera again. Stick the C5 on top of your drone and then re-enter the controls for it. You can easily surprise opponents with this flying bomb to great effect.
Death from above
Last but not least you can also utilize the C5 while you are gliding through the air on your parachute. You can basically become a bomber while dropping the C5 mid-flight to take out opponents below you. Just give it a go.
