Astralis moves on to Blast Premier Grand Final as they defeat Vitality

After a tough series and two harshly contested maps, Astralis was able to defeat Vitality and move to the Grand Final. The final map (Inferno) was a blowout, featuring a 16-5 scoreline.

The upper bracket final between Astralis and Vitality started off with a close game on Dust II, which saw Vitality sub in Nivera for misutaaa. Even though Vitality ended the first half with a small 8-7 lead, Astralis took control over the second half and pulled out the win, despite a strong performance from ZywOo for Vitality. Overpass was more one-sided, with Vitality securing the lead early and closing out convincely in the second half. In the final game on Inferno, Astralis stomped vitality with a dominant 16-5 win. This makes Astralis the first team to reach the Grand Final.

In the lower bracket Natus Vincere was able to take revenge against Team Liquid after being sent to the lower bracket in the Upper Bracket quarterfinals. Natus Vincere won Inferno and Nuke with 16-13 and 16-14 respectively coming off a big performance by their star player s1mple. Team Liquid was eliminated from the tournament following the result.

Up next is the lower bracket final, where Natus Vincere plays Team Vitality for a spot in the Grand Final against Astralis. While Team Vitality has looked good all tournament, Natus Vincerer has had quite the resurgence in recent games. Their match will start January 24 at 16:30 with the Grand Final being played later, at 20:30.
