In a teaser that was shared by Riot Games on the League of Legends Twitter page, we get a look at a familiar face in a fresh outfit.
In the tweet Riot Games said that “a new threat is online”. When watching the video we see a rainy, urban environment before panning up to a giant shining figure, which closely resembles top laner Mordekaiser. The video even shows two hands grabbing onto a huge weapon, which further hints at a reveal of the top laner. Earlier a supposed leaked already showed off what the splash art of the PROJECT Mordekaiser skin would look like.

In any case, the PROJECT skin line is one of the most popular skin themes that Riot Games has offered, with 17 skins already out in the game. In the lore the line of skins is divided into different factions, being G/NETIC, Command Line, Outsiders and Vigilantes. The line features skins for popular champions such as Lucian, Irelia and Jinx.
Earlier on this week we might also have gotten a hint at the PROJECT skin for bot laner Varus. Riot tweeted out a skin for Varus that looked awfully similar to the PROJECT line, but ultimately deleted the tweet a little bit later. We’ll just have to wait and see when we’ll be getting more information or when Riot decides to release the new skins.
