Among Us announce 15-player lobbies and is also coming to Xbox consoles

Popular multiplayer game Among Us will get a big update, which will include 15-player lobbies, developer Innersloth announced during their E3 Showcase.

Fans of the game won’t have to wait long to jump into the 15-player lobbies, as the update is scheduled to release on June 15. An increase in the amount of players isn’t the only thing that’s coming to Among Us, as they also announced support for mobile controllers, new colors and a new kill screen menu. Most notably the update will also feature a new Hide and Seek gamemode and new Scientist and Sheriff roles.

Innersloth went on to announce that Among Us will be making its way to Xbox consoles as well, a platform it currently isn’t available on. Among Us will be making its way onto the Xbox Game Pass. Earlier they already announced that the game will be made available on PlayStation later this year as well and it’s already available on mobile and Nintendo Switch besides their PC version.

Among Us became one of the most played online multiplayer games during the pandemic, further boosted by its popularity among Twitch streamers, who routinely teamed up and got together to play the game with fans and fellow creators, further boosting its popularity.
