Halloween is coming and many scary special events are waiting to be played. We will give you a small guide on the best ones, so you know which are a trick and which are a treat.
A lot of games release special content for the spooky season with a lot of new content. We put together the 10 best Halloween specials for you.
Animal Crossing: New Horizons | New Horizon´s fall update started on September 30th. For the complete duration of the event you can buy sweets in Tom Nook´s shop for 120 Bells and pumpkin sprouts for 280 Bells. You can plant the pumpkins on your fields to craft items later on. Apex Legends | EA´s Battle Royale Apex Legends also gives it´s players a fair share of Halloween content every year. The special was called Fight or Fright and came with seasonal skins, a new legend and the Shadowfall game mode. The mode is expected to return this year. ARK: Survival Evolved | In the coming weeks, the primeval survival game will host an event called Fear Evolved. It will be the fourth part of it´s horror series. There will be eleven new Chibi-Pets, seven new dinosaur skins, new ghost skins, several Halloween items and two new emotes. For all of the event, breeding time is reduced to 50% and you will gain double xp. Fear Evolved will start on official servers on October 22nd and last until November 6th. Call of Duty: Warzone | As a part of season 6, Warzone will have it´s own Halloween special mid October. It is called Haunting of Verdansk and will go on from October 20th to November 3rd. You will be able to play various new night modes that transform Verdansk into a horrid battlefield. Of course there will also be themed skins available in the shop. | Image source: Activision ▲
FIFA | Since 2017 FIFA also has had a Halloween event going by the name of Ultimate Scream. It´s main content are the Scream cards that can be pulled in special packs. Because of their improved ratings, they are popular among players. Also, there will be a new Squad-Building-Challenge and cosmetics. Fortnite | While Fortnite has a lot of events, there will also be one for Halloween. Fortnitemares is Epic Games´ special event for thheir Battle Royale. It will bring a new limited time mode, which is said to be CTF or conquest-like. A ned Midas boss will also be added. He has a golden Scar and is surrounded by ghostly servants. Overwatch | In Overwatch the Halloween special is one of the biggest events of the year. Called Halloween Terror, the event started on October 13th and brings back Junkenstein\\\\\\\'s Revenge. Rocket League | In the past couple of years the Haunted Hallows event in Rocket League started mid October. If and when the event will start this year is currently unknown. Tom Clancys Rainbow Six: Siege | The tactical shooter´s event will be called Sugar Fright. It will not be quite as dark and dusty as the last Halloween events. There will be a kill confirmed mode similar to Call of Dutyand a new pack collection. World Of Warcraft | The WoW special Hallow\\\\\\\'s End will start on October 18th and end on November 1st. Over the event\\\\\\\'s span the world will be decorated in a seasonal fit. Players will be able to fulfill different tasks based on their faction. Every tavern grants you a bucket of sweets with various buffs. Additionally, every 60 minutes the innkeeper will have a free surprise for you as a part of trick or treat. ▲
