All 10 LEC Spring Split 2021 junglers ranked

One of the most impactful roles to start season 11 was the jungle-role. Let’s take a look at which players do it the best in the LEC.

We saw the rise of farming junglers once again and with that new champions saw the light of day. This is an extremely specific playstyle that has not been played in competitive League of Legends for a while and it was harder for some junglers to adapt. Although, those who did adapt fast got some extra wins at the beginning of the split. This shows how diverse junglers must be and you either adapt or you lose.

Today we will take a look at the top 10 junglers in the League of Legends European Championship, or LEC, and rank them from 10 to 1 based on their current performance. Of course, as any other ranking we make, your opinion may differ from ours. Every opinion is a valid one as long as you can provide some arguments for them. Without further ado, let’s go through our list.

10. Zanzarah – Astralis

One of the funniest rookies we have seen in a long time and he is mostly known for playing tanky or utility junglers. With the meta favoring powerfarming junglers for most of the beginning of the split, he can now play stuff like the Skarner at which he is good at. He is last in KDA and second to last at cs per minute stats. However, his time will come soon and hopefully he can prove his worth with the new jungle patch.

9. Skeanz – Team Vitality

It is never easy to be the shining light on a roster that is struggling to get out of last place. Skeanz has got some things going for him as he is the jungler with the highest killshare out of all LEC junglers, but he only ranks 6th in goldshare. Even though he has a lot of kills, he does not have the means to carry his team to victory yet. Something he might improve on in the future.

8. Dan – EXCEL

His team is currently fighting to stay alive for the playoffs and so is Dan. He has not really left his mark on the league yet and we are still waiting for that one pop-off game. He was known for playing a mean Lee Sin and with the current, albeit small, buffs to the champion things might change. Once he finds his spot in the league, we expect him to consistently show good things.

7. Razork – Misfits Gaming

One of the junglers that has shown both ganking and farming playstyles in the jungle and played good games during it, was Razork. Even though his team did not get the wins they wanted, he has shown that he can play the Udyr and Pantheon and be successful in his own way. With high cs per minute stats and a high kill & gold share, he still must figure out how to translate that into victories for his team. With Misfits on the rise recently, Razork will be a player to keep a close eye on.

6. Gilius – Schalke 04

He is also known as GodGilius, but for now he is struggling a bit. He is not in his “god-form” from the last split and is currently on a loss streak with his team. Six back-to-back losses after such a good start is hard to deal with. We know Gilius can turn seasons around and with the changing of the meta it might be his time to shine again.

5. TynX – SK Gaming

One of the best performing rookies this split, he has shown us how successful a jungler from the European Regional Leagues can be. He is high up on every statistic, even second on the KDA ladder with an impressive one of 6,41. This SK Gaming roster might be the dark horse coming into the playoffs, especially if TynX can maintain (or even improve on) his level of play.

4. Elyoya – MAD Lions

We all remember his Kayn game where he went completely bonkers with a KDA of 12/3/5 in just one game. He is not afraid to take a carry role within his team and his team trusts him to execute on it. With MAD Lions sitting comfortably at the top of the table we only expect more performances like the Kayn one from Elyoya.

3. Selfmade – Fnatic

Fnatic has been struggling a bit this season while they are adapting to the new meta and evolving a new playstyle. Selfmade is no longer the sole carry player on this roster and must adapt. He still has all the potential being the best farming jungler in the league with the highest cs per minute. However, he will have to learn to step down whenever another player from Fnatic must carry or is the win condition.

2. Jankos – G2 Esports

Being a jungler on G2 Esports gives you a lot of freedom as your laners are arguably the best in the league. Jankos biggest concern every time he loads into the game is how many skillshots he can hit. He has been farming it out, playing PvE-style for most of the games, having the lowest kill participation out of all junglers. Nevertheless, his knowledge of the game and strong shotcalling will always make him one of the best junglers around.

1. Inspired – Rogue

We look to Rogue as possibly the strongest opponent G2 Esports will have to face in the playoffs. With Inspired leading the charge in so much of the statistics, it looks like a lot of success from Rogue comes directly from him. With his smart decision making and being active on the map from an early stage, he has already shown us to be the possible next greatest European jungler if he is not already.

With week 7 of the LEC on our hands, we will see Elyoya take on Inspired in the last match of the week. MAD Lions against Rogue will be a hyped match-up and one to look forward to on March the 6th, Friday at 21pm CET.
