AGO parts ways with GruBy

Polish esports organization AGO is parting ways with their rifler Dominik “GruBy” Swiderski as his contract has run out. He has been a part of the organization for three years but will now have to look for opportunities elsewhere.

On his Twitter page, GruBy thanks his fans for all the support they’ve given him and says he’s ready and looking for a new challenge within the CS:GO sphere. GruBy was a big factor in the success of AGO back in early 2019, when they managed to score big in the World Electronic Sports Games 2018. They would lose out to Windigo Gaming in the grand final after eliminating teams such as Valiance and Fnatic on the way, taking home 200.000 dollar.

New direction?

It’s currently unclear what direction AGO is going to take with their roster but there’s a big chance their roster might undergo some more changes in the upcoming weeks. AGO is reportedly in talks with Pawel “reatz” Jańczak, Michał “snatchie” Rudzki and Karol “rallen” Rodowicz, three top Polish players who are currently still free agents. AGO currently still has four players in their active roster (and Milosz “mhl” Knasiak inactive on the bench)

It’ll be interesting to see where GruBy, who besides his competitive career is also active as a streamer, is headed next. He’ll certainly bring quite a lot of experience to the table.
