After Brax and AZK departure: T1 sign Curry to VALORANT team

Esports organization T1 has announced that they signed Rahul “curry” Nemani to their VALORANT roster, as he makes the switch from CS:GO.

Yet another former CS:GO player makes the jump to VALORANT, as curry joins the T1 VALORANT team. In the past he played for such teams as Triumph and Rebirth Esports, competing in the ESEA while also playing in such tournaments as the DreamHack Masters Winter 2020 NA and IEM XV New York NA. Curry will be filling one of the vacant slots on the T1 roster.

T1 decided to make a change a while ago, releasing two of their first players in the form of Braxton “Brax” Pierce and Keven “AZK” Larivière after disappointing results despite a strong start when VALORANT first came out. Curry already played with the organization as a stand-in player when they competed in the VCT Challengers qualifier, yet T1 failed to make it out, leaving the qualifier in the round of 64.

Curry posted the announcement of his signing to Twitter and talked about joining T1. “Glad to be officially joining T1, the amount of potential this roster has is insane. Tomorrow at 3PST we are looking to start our journey to masters. Can’t wait to show everyone what we have been cooking up.”
