Countless new streamers arose while many others solidified their platform or moved to pursue new opportunities. If you’re looking for new broadcasters to watch, here are the top five streamers to keep an eye on in 2022.
5. Ludwig
The livestreaming mogul became on the latest streamers to make the move from Twitch to YouTube. Though Ludwig had a rocky start to his YouTube career, getting banned twice, the content creator has begun to hit his stride on the platform. Creating content from casual to outlandish, Ludwig has done everything from play Jump King to peel an egg for 48 hours straight. Ludwig will only likely continue to grow on his new platform, making him a streamer to watch in 2022.
4. Maya Higa
Maya Higa is still a relative newcomer to steaming, though has emerged as one of the most innovative creators on the platform. From her educational content to her sustainability efforts, Maya Higa has quickly became the face of environmental sustainability on Twitch. Often streaming from the Alveus Animal Sanctuary, viewers are often times greeted with cameos from a wide variety of animals.
Alongside this, Maya Higa hosted one of the largest collaborative events of the year. During Halloween, the conservationist hosted countless other creators at her sanctuary and raised an unprecedented amount of money for the institution. For 2022, we can be sure that Maya Higa will only continue grow her efforts across Twitch.
3. DisguisedToast
The former Facebook streamer has made his illustrious return to Twitch after several years off the platform. A member of OfflineTV, Toast is most well known for his dry and sarcastic sense of humor as well as his prowess in strategy games. Toast has always been transparent with his audience, showing both his yearly earnings and going into explicit details as to why he left Twitch.
It is not certain that DisguisedToast will remain on Twitch given the information he has disclosed regarding his initial departure. For both content and future offers, DisgusiedToast will be an interesting figure to watch in 2022.
2. Hasanabi
Love him or hate him, the political commentator has become one of the most prevalent faces on Twitch. The former TYT anchor has hosted some of the most diverse guests on his stream, bringing on musicians, models, as well as countless other streamers. There are few that have found the sustained success that xQc has, and while he is already among the most well-known streamers, he is also a must watch.
