5 League of Legends champions that desperately need more skins

Even though riot releases skins regularly it does feel that certain champions get left out. Let’s discuss which champions need more skins.

Ezreal tops the chart with his 15 skins, with Alistar and Miss Fortune sharing the spotlight at second place with 14. Not everyone is happy with every skin, but I am sure all of you know at least one or two skins that bring a smile to your face or where the aesthetic just makes you think: “That’s so cool!”. Let’s review which champions need a bigger allowance for their clothing budget.

Kayn

In the look department Kayn has the advantage that he can change form, so his vanilla skin, and all other ones for that matter, already has three forms. He currently has two skins, taking into consideration that champions are released with one skin already, it means the only time riot has given him some love in the skin department was with Odyssey Kayn. Arguably also one of the worst Odyssey skins that was released during that time.

A quick reminder for everyone that Odyssey was over two years ago and since then every other champion that received a skin during that event has already received newer ones as well. Kayn was released almost four years ago so there has been plenty of opportunity to at least make sure the poor fellow can wear something warm when fighting against Freljord champions.

Sylas

Sylas can hijack other people’s ultimate but in the styling department he is flying solo. If he had an entire clothing line back home that would have been fine but just as Kayn he only had one additional skin released. His character is very cool looking but maybe due to the generic style of his design it is more difficult to be creative.

Sylas is a rebel so why not give him some rebellious looks. Giving his previously mentioned genericness as a regular person. You can go ALL OUT with the clothing you give him or completely change it up with his body.

Tahm Kench

Skin-wise Tahm adopted the philosophy of quality over quantity. Smartly dressed in his vanilla skin and with the icon accent, one can argue that with his vanilla form Riot Games nailed it. All his other selves are well designed skins in the form of Master Chef, Coin Emperor and Urf Kench, but that is where the list ends.

It’s made even worse by the fact that our frog-like friend has such an iconic look. He should be able to show that off in a plethora of outfits. His coin emperor skin was made within the Chinese New Year line up and it fits him well, but there are enough other holidays that’d warrant a Tham Kench skin.

Rek’sai

Our mute void monster needs to learn to use her voice for other uses besides screaming. One of those can be to complain and let the rift know she wants to dress up as well. One caveat here is that, because of the fact she is very monster looking, it becomes more difficult.

That does not excuse the design team though. Cho’gath and Kha’zix have received an entire runway show of skins, so why didn’t Rek’sai? Think of all the different looks monsters like Frankenstein and Dracula have had. Just because you come from the void shouldn’t mean he can’t bring his wardrobe with him as well.

Camille

Camille sits in the same department as Rek’sai with only three skins, but one of those is “IG Camille”. In other words, a skin that was chosen by one of the players. To me, those do not count. Almost all the World skins are awesome, but you just need to give the lady something more. Having both grace in her aesthetic, gameplay, and animations makes her a prime candidate for certain skins.

Think of her hook shot ability and the possibilities that remain. You can have a Camille that shoots rockets instead of hooks. Lore wise she works in law enforcement, but it seems that there were some budget cuts down at the station.
