Gaming gear manufacturer Turtle Beach has expanded its partnership with eSports powerhouse OpTic Gaming. The new deal will span a period of several years. As per the new accord, OpTic’s World Champion Call of Duty and Gears of War teams will continue to use the latest gaming headsets made available by Turtle Beach.

OpTic also fields competitors in virtually every mainstay of professional video gaming, including CS:GO where immersion is paramount to success. The new partnership now extends to include games such as Dota 2 and PUBG and possibly other FPS and sword-and-sorcery titles in future.

Turtle Beach has definitely not been idle in the past months. The company has signed up Halo champions Splyce and became the official partner for Knicks Gaming.

Both OpTic and Turtle Beach had a lot to show for in 2017, with the eSports team claiming multiple-titles and successes across CoD and GoW, and Turtle Beach advancing its headsets with the launch of the Elite Pro – OpTic Limited Edition.

According to an official press release, the pair is seeking to develop exclusive merchandise, new competition products, and bring closer players and followers through exclusive and exciting fan events.

Turtle Beach Corporation CEO Juergen Stark said:

‘The expansion of esports leagues, competitions, games, and athlete demands is constant, making our partnership with OpTic Gaming a key one. We've watched OpTic evolve from being one of the world's best competitive Call of Duty teams into a multidimensional esports entertainment franchise, so we're very excited to broaden our great relationship to grow with them.’

Infinite Esports & Entertainment, the company that owns OpTic Gaming, has been equally pleased with the latest developments. Senior Vice President Ryan Musselman had this to say:

‘Throughout our long-standing partnership, Turtle Beach has supported us with unmatched excellence and products. Year over year, the team at Turtle Beach has inherently understood the definitive needs of our players, and as we expanded into new competitive titles they've been quick to ensure new players are welcomed with strong products and top tier service. We're excited to continue teaming up with Turtle Beach in supporting our pro players, the Green Wall, and the expansive esports community.’
