StarCraft to have another special stream

By Nikola Petrov StarCraft II 04 Apr 2018 369 views

StarCraft’s birthday continues with another celebration. Popular personalities will gather at PAX East to share stories and the panel will be streamed online.

The panel will be hosted at the Albatross Theatre at PAX East and will invite people to tell how StarCraft touched their life. The panellists will also take questions from Twitch viewers at home. The event will focus on the gaming community and the many players of the cult RTS, and so much on the game itself.

We’ll see familiar faces as special guests. They include eSports personalities Sue 'Smix' Lee and Geoff 'iNcontroL' Robinson, Broodwar community veteran Susie 'LilSusie' Kim, cartoonist Jonathon ‘CarBot’ Burton and NBA player and avid gamer Gordon Hayward.

The convention will last nearly an hour and will cover a few decades of stories, moving through multiple topics and points of view. The first half will focus on the people on the stage, and what they have to say. The second half will introduce the online viewers – they will have a chance to ask questions for the panellists to answer.

The panel starts 5 April at 5:00 p.m. EDT. It will be available to watch on the official StarCraft Twitch channel.

After the initial announcements, StarCraft’s 20th birthday celebration looked a bit underwhelming. However, it is now clear, that Blizzard wanted to save the best for last, and reveal the different ways to celebrate one at a time. The massive two-day birthday stream did not disappoint (both in terms of content and gifts), and this PAX one looks like it’s going to be the cherry on top.
